Excel Primary School strives to create a difference in the Mangochi District of Malawi by providing quality education through a dedicated team of qualified teachers as well as strictly followed academia procedures.
Excel Primary School was established in 2018 by Mrs. Lonnie Manduwi – the first female ship-captain of Malawi. Mrs. Manduwi was a seasoned educator, having worked as a Lecturer at the Malawi Marine College and the Principal of MCV and Gracious Secondary School. Her passion for education led her to establish two schools in Mangochi District: Hillside Secondary School, and Excel Primary School. It was her dream that children from Mangochi have access to quality and excellent education, and we uphold that vision.

Excel offers the Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) curriculum. Classes range from Nursery and Reception to Primary school (Standard 1 – 8). Each class has 3 terms per year.

$150 sponsors a learner’s full tuition. Sponsor one of our brilliant learners for a full year.
$100 sponsors a learner’s stationery needs – covering all their educational supply needs.
$100 sponsors a learner’s computer lessons – giving them access to devices and Unlimited WiFi.
$500 sponsors a student fully, covering their tuition, uniform, stationery, as well as transportation to and from school.

The school is located in Makokola (near Makawa trading centre) in Mangochi District of Malawi. We provide a welcoming learning environment to all learners regardless of background.
