Excel Primary School was established in 2018 by Mrs. Lonnie Manduwi. Mrs. Manduwi was a seasoned educator, having worked as a Lecturer at the Malawi Marine College and the Principal of MCV and Gracious Secondary School. Her passion for education led her to establish two schools in Mangochi District: Hillside Secondary School, and Excel Primary School. It was her dream that children from Mangochi have access to quality and excellent education, and we uphold that vision.

Excel Primary School is officially registered with the Ministry of Education and ISAMA, and is a recognised MANEB examination centre
Excel offers the Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) curriculum. Classes range from Nursery and Reception to Primary school (Standard 1 – 8). Each class has 3 terms per year.

The school is located in Makokola (near Makawa trading centre) in Mangochi District of Malawi. We provide a welcoming learning environment to all learners regardless of background.
